Thaiholics Fight Promotions is starting the year with a bang, an exciting night of muay thai action. TFP 6: For Gold will feature 2 professional bouts as well as 4 pro-am fights, including 2 SA title defences and 1 title eliminator . It's going to be all out war as some of the best nak muays on the continent look to rubber-stamp their positions in their divisions and prove their mettle to the live crowd.

Headlining the event is Libya’s Lamin Souayah going up against the challenger Durban's Khaya Ntombela in a professional Super Middleweight bout under full muay thai rules, sanctioned by the World Muay Thai Organization. Both fighters have something to prove and will be battling it out to show their dominance.

Joining them in the professional ranks, Thaiholics’s Romano Birks faces off against Viper MMA's Riaan Boois in a Super Welterweight clash.

South African Pro-Am champions, Shane Deacon and Zoe Klaassen , will defend their super welterweight and Super Lightweight belts, respectively, when they face off against Dean Grobler and Nuraan Noordien . Grobler defeated James Swart to stake his claim at a title shot and Noordien beat Kristen Clarke, both at TFP 5: Level Up.

Two more pro-am bouts are on the card. Thaiholic’s Brian Ncube makes his return when he faces off against Heinrich Jacobs in a Super Lightweight clash. Thaiholic's Anthony Black takes on Iron Tiger’s Ryan Barham in a 74kg catch weight bout.

Five amateur fighters will also be given the much-needed platform to hone their talents. Thaiholics Gym’s Shaun Dupreez faces Iron Tiger’s Juan Levin at Welterweight ; Camp Fights’ Jamie Theunissen faces Iron Tiger’s Faith Aldridge at Super Bantamweight ; Camp Fight’s Brandon Boucher faces Iron Tiger’s Ahmed Alghariani; Thaiholics Aaron Barnes takes on Ananthachai's Rohan Niewoudt and finally Venter's gym Ezrah Perrang is up against PFA's Tiaan Van As.
